A Liga Acadêmica da Doença Falciforme completa um ano de existência em maio de 2012 e, para celebrar, a família LADF realizará o I Academic Symposium on Sickle Cell Disease - Multidisciplinary Care for People with Sickle Cell Disease. O evento acontecerá na Unidade Acadêmica Cabula e as inscrições, que seguem até o dia 16 de maio, devem ser realizadas no site da Liga - http://www.ladf.med.br/.

The initiative is aimed at students and health professionals and interested parties. Applicants must bring dressing material (gases, gloves, tape, cotton, etc.) on the day of the symposium, as part of the registration. The material will be sent to the Bahia Association of People with Sickle Cell Disease (ABADFAL).
