Once again, the Bahiana esteve presente em um importante evento de Saúde de nosso estado. De 12 a 15 de setembro, o Centro de Convenções foi palco da 8ª Conferência Estadual de Saúde, iniciativa da Secretaria Estadual de Saúde que teve como objetivo discutir a melhoria do acesso à saúde e a ampliação do financiamento e da oferta de novos serviços, com a implantação de políticas de fortalecimento do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS).

Under the guidance of professors Marcel Arriaga and Marcelo Rocha, the students of the Collective Health II subject took part in a practical class on social control. Among the tasks, the students interviewed the various actors from the segments of managers, users of the system and health workers who came as delegates to represent the most diverse regions of the state.

Bahiana once again it was present in this important instance of Brazilian public health.
