Questions and reflections on the works “The myth of freedom” and “Walden II”, by the American psychologist Burrhus Frederic Skinner, permeated the atmosphere of chat between Psychology students and professionals, on November 18th, when the Coffee date with Skinner. Informally, the group participating in the event tasted not only the author's concepts, but also sequilhos, coffee and chocolate.

In addition to professors and the coordinator of the Psychology course at Bahiana, Dr. Mônica Daltro, psychologists and behavior analysts, Emanoel Palma and Luciana Maria Assis, also participated in the meeting.

Burrhus Frederic Skinner (Susquehanna, Pensilvânia, 20 de Março de 1904 — Cambridge, 18 de Agosto de 1990) foi um autor e psicólogo americano que conduziu trabalhos pioneiros em psicologia experimental e foi o propositor do Behaviorismo Radical, abordagem que busca entender o comportamento em função das inter-relações entre a filogenética, o ambiente (cultura) e a história de vida do indivíduo.
