NEAD promotes new online meeting on October 15th

Lecture will address the current perspectives of nursing informatics.

Paula de Brito Gonçalves, a nurse specializing in Health Informatics, by the Teaching and Research Institute of the Hospital Sírio Libanês, will be the next speaker at the online meeting promoted by the Distance Learning Nucleus of Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública (NEAD), que acontece no dia 15 de outubro, às 20h. Nursing informatics is the area of ​​knowledge that studies the application of technological resources in teaching, in practice, in assistance and in care and care management. These resources have offered Nursing a series of possibilities to improve professional performance and customer/patient service, these and other aspects have changed the profile of professionals working in the area.

Paula de Brito Goncalves
Nurse, specialist in Health Informatics, by the Teaching and Research Institute of Hospital Sírio Libanês, in Project Management – ​​PMI Practices, by SENAC, and in Oncology, by the Teaching and Research Institute of Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein. With over 10 years of experience in Digital Health in large healthcare organizations, he has knowledge in processes and systemic improvements for multidisciplinary teams in different segments of the area. He has experience in project development and management, knowledge in SQL language, programming logic and experience with software integrations and service negotiations with partner companies. It actively participates in implementations based on methodologies. He worked in the Information Technology area at Hospital Sírio Libanês, where he was responsible for care modules. Currently, he works at FOLKS, official representative of HIMSS Analytics in Latin America, working with auditing, pre-audit and consulting processes in Digital Health.
