The Medicine course of Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública conquistou o reconhecimento internacional através da certificação ISO 9001, que corresponde a um grupo de normas técnicas vigente em cerca de 189 países. A certificação foi recebida no dia 1º de fevereiro de 2019.

With this, the Bahiana is consolidated as one of the institutions, worldwide, which has the best practices in Quality Management associated with the support processes of the Medicine course, comprising all areas that are interrelated with the course's activities, such as libraries, secretariats, Pedagogical Supervision Center, Psychopedagogical Care Center, Teaching Laboratories, Information Technology Center, Equipment Maintenance Sector, GEFIN, Strategic Management of People and Learning, Student and Teacher Support Service, Institutional Relationship and PROIDD, in addition to the Commission Evaluation and Coordination of the course.
