Anunciamos 9ª JORNADA ODONTOLÓGICA DA BAHIANA (9ª JOBA), que será realizada nos dias 13, 14 e 15 de maio de 2010, no pavilhão de aulas do Campus III (Cabula) da BAHIANA / Dentistry course. 

The scientific grid was created with the aim of integrating the various undergraduate schools in the state of Bahia, providing knowledge and scientific enrichment, in addition to the active participation of academics and professionals in this program.

HOMAGE

A 9ª JOBA homenageia nesta edição a ilustre Profª. Drª. Gabriela Botelho Martins (Estomatologia da BAHIANA) for the services rendered to the scientific dentistry community of the State of Bahia and, above all, for the great dedication and commitment in all editions of this event.

JOBA COMMUNITY

Durante o evento da 9ª JOBA acontecerá, paralelamente às atividades científicas, a 9ª JOBA COMUNIDADE que este ano tem como alvo a promoção de saúde bucal de crianças e adolescentes e envolverá residentes da comunidade do bairro Cabula. O evento será coordenado pela Equipe de Saúde Bucal Coletiva (docentes da BAHIANA) and will promote oral hygiene activities to be performed by the students of the Dentistry Course - BAHIANA (at the brushodrome, with presentation of educational films and distribution of kits with brush, toothpaste and mouthwash to patients).

III MEETING OF FORMER STUDENTS OF BAHIANA

Também será realizado paralelamente à 9ª JOBA, o III Encontro de Ex-alunos da Bahiana. It aims to maintain the link of the graduate of BAHIANA with the institution, following their professional evolution and enabling the exchange of knowledge with undergraduates participating in the event. JOBA's Scientific Committee will select the most relevant works developed by undergraduate and graduate ex-students, which will be presented as conferences.

PROCEEDINGS OF THE 9TH JOBA

The abstracts of the works selected to be presented during the 9th JOBA will be published, in the form of ANAIS, in the Journal Bahiana of Dentistry.

AWARDS

At the end of May 14th, the official award ceremony for the best academic papers of the 9th JOBA will be held, followed by a get-together and closing of activities.
