Bahiana holds Inaugural Class of Postgraduate Courses 2024.1

Programming brought experiences from researchers who graduated from the Stricto Sensu Programs.

With the Campus Cabula auditorium full, the Bahiana welcomed new students to its Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Programs, with an Inaugural Class that took place on the morning of February 23rd. The opening table, which was chaired by the dean of Research, Innovation and Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Atson Fernandes, was attended by the program coordinators, Dr. Marice Ladeia (Masters and Doctorate in Medicine and Human Health ), Dr. Marcos Almeida (Professional Master's Degree in Health Technologies) and Mônica Daltro (Professional Master's Degree in Psychology and Health Interventions), in addition to the vice-rector of Bahiana, Dr. Humberto Castro Lima Filho, and the representative of the Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation (SECTI) Márcia Sales.

"This is a very proud moment for our institution, as here we are celebrating science in its true sense, that is, our purpose is to form scientific awareness that involves research, critical, reflective, innovative and transformative thinking", said Atson Fernandes in his opening speech.

After receiving words from the panel participants, the new postgraduate students attended the panel "How postgraduate studies positively impacted my professional career", given by graduate researchers Daniele Piai Ozores, master in Medicine and Human Health, Mônica Andrade Rios, master in Health Technologies, Thalita Sacramento Almeida de Morais, master in Psychology and Health Interventions and Luciana Sobral da Silveira Silva, PhD in Medicine and Human Health. The program also included a presentation of the sectors linked to postgraduate programs, in addition to a welcome with the Coordination of each program.
