Psychology Clinic at Bahiana Health turns 20

A morning with music, knowledge and recognition! This was the atmosphere at the ceremony celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Psychology Clinic at Bahiana Health, held on November 10th, at the Campus Brotas. The anniversary of the date was celebrated with the presence of people who marked its two-decade trajectory, including the dean of Bahiana, Dr. Maria Luisa Carvalho Soliani, the coordinator of the Professional Master's Program in Psychology and Health Interventions, professor Dr. Mônica Daltro, the first coordinator of the Psychology course at Bahiana, Maria Rosália Correia, the NAPP coordinator, Angélica Mendes, the Psychology course coordinator, Sylvia Barreto, and the People Development coordinator, Luiza Ribeiro.

The ceremony, presided over by the Clinic coordinator, Myla Arouca, began with a performance by the band "Os Indocentes", made up of teachers, psychologists and students from the Psychology course. The critical discussion of the program was the presentation of the dissertation “Dialogues about practice: what is the place of the school service in Psychology training”, developed in the Professional Master's Degree in Psychology and Health Interventions at Bahiana by the technical manager of the Psychology Clinic, Rosenir Alcântara, who discussed the space of the clinic in the process of training in psychology.

The congratulations concluded with the delivery of plaques to the honorees. Among psychologists, collaborators and former collaborators of the Psychology Clinic, Myla Arouca, Sylvia Barreto, Mônica Daltro, Márcia Tironi, Eridã Almeida (former collaborator of the Clinic), Amanda Cerqueira, Ana Luiza Carvalho, Caroline Severo, Emanuela Leal received the honor. , Flávia Santiago and Maria Rosália Correia. Also present at the event, the vice-rector of Bahiana, Dr. Humberto Castro Lima Filho left his message for those present. "We define ourselves in the relationships we establish with people. Here we believe that it is possible to transform, improve people and improve the world where these people live. And we are fulfilling this mission little by little, each one doing their part. And I believe that is it that matters", highlighted the vice-rector.
