A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 9 laboratories, 23 rooms of class e 2 auditoriums to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 37 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. The Cabula Campus is also home to the Dental Center of Bahiana, where the Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic is located, a field of practice for the quality training of dentistry students, from the 4th semester of the course, under the supervision of professors and has ability to serve up to 120 patients simultaneously. The month of attention and combating suicide ended in Bahiana with the September Yellow event: "From despair to the invitation of hope", held by the Actions and Studies Program on Suicide (PAES), on September 27, broadcast live by the institution's official channel on the <a style="color: #007bff; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NRDfYgk8L-c" target="_blank" rel="noopener">YouTube</a>. Paes was created 7 years ago and has already held 5 seminars for Setembro Amarelo, this being the second to take place virtually, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
In her opening speech, the coordinator of Paes and professor of the Psychology course at Bahiana, Aicil Franco, highlighted that the event would take a leap this year and that, in addition to addressing the issue of suicide, the meeting also proposed to talk about hope. "This time, we made progress and, this year, we are going to talk about hope", he declares, justifying the theme of the event, which is also a tribute to the centenary of educator Paulo Freire. The psychologist and former student of the Bahiana, Ricardo Mattos, who presented a bit of the history of PAES.
The program included the presentation of Undergraduate and Graduate Course Completion Papers (TCC) by PAES members and the lecture "The search for hope in dark times" by Jungian psychotherapist Maria Helena Guerra. The seminar ended with a performance by the psychologist and also a former student of the Bahiana, Millen Carvalho.

Yellow September: "From despair to the invitation of hope"

Employees from various sectors of the Bahiana Health attended a meeting to talk about suicide on the morning of September 17th. The moment included the speech of the nurse and teacher from Bahiana, member of the Suicide Prevention Study Nucleus and specialist in Mental Health, Cíntia Mesquita, who met in person with members of the sectors of the Campus of Brotas. In turn, Campus Cabula employees were also able to participate through a live broadcast, carried out by CEDETE. Aiming to draw attention to the Yellow September, the meeting allowed the exchange of experiences lived by the participants at times in their personal lives and even during their work with users of the Bahiana Health. At the time, employees highlighted the importance of the initiative precisely because they work in a health unit. Cíntia Mesquita highlighted, among the relevant points, the importance of not judging people's attitudes, especially those who manifest suicidal ideation. “It's important to be aware of and sensitize to each other”. She indicated that, when identifying someone with problems, they should be welcomed by listening, without being invasive. “Secondly, a support network must be identified, whether it is the family itself, friends, a religious community to which that person is connected and people who participate in that person's life,” explained the speaker.&nbsp;
