A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

General Coordination

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 9 laboratories, 23 rooms of class e 2 auditoriums to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 37 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. The Cabula Campus is also home to the Dental Center of Bahiana, where the Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic is located, a field of practice for the quality training of dentistry students, from the 4th semester of the course, under the supervision of professors and has ability to serve up to 120 patients simultaneously. “Psychology and transversalities: the construction of skills for professional practice”. This was the theme of the speech by professors Myla Arouca and Eliana Edington at the opening of the XIV SEPET – Preparation Seminar for Internship and Work and IV Internship Day in Psychology, on October 25th, at the Campus Brotas. The event was coordinated by professors Ana Aparecida Martinelli, Myla Arouca and Sylvia Barreto, coordinator of the Psychology course. Held annually, the event aims to prepare students in the 7th and 8th semesters to enter the internship and students in the 9th and 10th semesters to enter the world of work, as well as to make them share professional practices with the entire student community of Psychology. After the initial speech, the conversation circle “Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes: dialogues between specific internships and the world of work” was held, with the participation of psychologists who graduated from Bahiana Beatriz Pimentel, Thais Andrade, Maria Fernanda and Adrielle Sampaio. At the end, an internship fair was held with the presentation of the company's services. Bahiana Health, in which students will be able to work in the future. “This is a very important event that aims to provide support both for students who will enter the course's mandatory internship and for those who will enter the world of work. So the event is aimed at enabling these students to think about psychology in a broad way, with its diversity of possibilities for intervention wherever there are people”, declared Ana Aparecida Martinelli.&nbsp;

Event invites Psychology students to think about internship and career.

XIII SEPET - Preparation Seminar for Internship and Work

Present the fields of practice to Psychology students, in order to better prepare them for the choice of internship, as well as for meeting the world of work. This was the objective of the II Journey of Internship in Psychology at Bahiana, which took place last Friday (10), in conjunction with the XII Seminar on Preparation for Internship and Work (SEPET). The meeting was held remotely, via the Zoom platform, with the participation of professors and students from the course, as well as professionals from the institution. The event was coordinated by professors Sylvia Barreto (coordinator of the Psychology course), Ana Aparecida Martinelli Braga (coordinator of internships in Psychology at Bahiana) and Myla Arouca (responsible for the Psychology Clinic of Bahiana Health), in partnership with the student body. The program included the discussion of clinical cases and reports of experiences of trainee students and psychologists who had graduated from the course. "We live in moments of many and hard uncertainties, but we reinvent ourselves, give new meaning and learn. I think that the moment to share is very important", declared Sylvia Barreto, explaining that the decision to unify the two events was made because it was more significant talk about internships, experiences and talk about work at the same time. "Thinking about a prognosis, we have a lot of work in psychology – and I've been saying that – for at least the next twenty years. We have a lot of work ahead of us!"

The meeting allowed the exchange of experiences between graduate psychologists, interns and students who will enter the 5th year of undergraduate Psychology.
