A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

General Coordination

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 9 laboratories, 23 rooms of class e 2 auditoriums to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 37 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. The Cabula Campus is also home to the Dental Center of Bahiana, where the Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic is located, a field of practice for the quality training of dentistry students, from the 4th semester of the course, under the supervision of professors and has ability to serve up to 120 patients simultaneously. The scientific journals Journal of Physiotherapy Research (JPR), Revista Psicologia, Diversidade e Saúde (RPDS), Journal of Contemporary Nursing (JCN), Journal of Evidence-Based Healthcare (Evidence) and the International Journal of Education and Health (IJEH), which are part of the portal Bahiana Journals, have just been indexed by EBSCO, one of the leading companies in providing open access scientific content for research, managing e-journal and e-package subscriptions, and a leading provider of library, e-book and clinical decision solutions for universities, colleges, hospitals, corporations, government, schools and public libraries worldwide. The executive editor of the scientific journal portal Bahiana Journals, João Barreto, explains that the indexing process is similar to a quality seal, an endorsement by the scientific community for the journal. He tells that the Bahiana has been focusing on the professionalization of the sector's operational team, strengthening the training of executive editors and interns in the best practices in scientific publishing. Ahead of the scientific dimension of the editorial flow, the editors-in-chief of each title (professors of the Bahiana) are careful to compel editors, reviewers and authors to deliver methodologically rigorous articles that are as transparent and reproducible as possible.
