A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 10 laboratories, 21 rooms of class e 1 auditorium to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 30 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. The Cabula Campus is also home to the Dental Center of Bahiana, where the Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic is located, a practical field for the quality training of Dentistry students, from the 4th semester of the course, under the supervision of professors, and which has capacity to serve up to 120 patients simultaneously, and Ontological clinic, providing private and accessible service to the population, performed by highly qualified professionals. <a style="color: #007bff; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://en.bahiana.edu.br/laboratorios-de-ensino-campus-cabula/">Discover the teaching laboratories.</a>

The 21st edition of Pré-Joba (Dentistry Day of Bahiana) took place on the night of March 21st, in the Cabula Campus Auditorium, with the lecture "Myths and Truths in Dentistry", with the master and specialist in Periodontics Eduardo Sampaio as guest lecturer. In an irreverent way, the speaker covered content that touched students from the 1st semester to already graduated alumni. Pré-Joba opens the scientific program of the Dentistry Day of Bahiana which, this year, will take place on May 24th and 25th, with the theme "Smiles, Technology and Integration". According to professor Roberta Catapano Campos, teaching coordinator of the Jornada, in addition to all the scientific programming that will feature workshops, lectures, round tables and hands-on sessions, the schedule will also feature the "Who knows, does it live" section, with the transmission of surgical procedures in real time. "We will also encourage our talents with a space for artistic presentations, as occurs in the Scientific and Cultural Exhibition of Bahiana”, says the teacher. The student coordinator of the 21st Joba, Gustavo Pinheiro Silva, a 9th semester Dentistry student, says that one of the main benefits for an academic in participating in the event is the expansion of networking between colleagues and professors. "I believe that all Dentistry students, whether freshmen or even those who are already finishing the course, should participate in JOBA and other Dentistry days, because we have access to very high quality hands-on and lectures with professors from outside of Brazil. Salvador. I am a student who has participated in the journey since the beginning of the course and I know how it adds value to my knowledge, to my training", declares Gustavo.

Here comes the 21st Pre-JOBA!

The Dentistry course at Bahiana held, on April 10, at Auditorium II of Campus Cabula, the 20th Pré-Joba (Dental Day of the Bahiana), with the lecture “Aesthetic Dentistry: teeth, face and compositions. The activity is a preview of Joba, which will take place on May 5th and 6th, at Campus Cabula. Registration for the 20th Joba is now open and can be done at <a style="color: #007bff; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://inscricoes.bahiana.edu.br/produto/522/joba-jornada-de-odontologia-da-bahiana/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Registration Center</a>. Having as target audience students and professionals in the area of ​​dentistry, the 20th Pre-Joba was coordinated by professor Paulo César Pinheiro Feitosa and had the participation, in its organization, of Dentistry students from Bahiana. Every year, the Dentistry course at the Bahiana carries out Joba, always involving students and teachers who make up the teaching and student committees, with the aim of disseminating scientific knowledge through the presentation of papers, seminars, courses, conferences, hands-on sessions and workshops.

The event takes place as a preview of the Dental Journey of Bahiana, which will be held on the 5th and 6th of May. Registration is now open!
