A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

General Coordination

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 10 laboratories, 21 rooms of class e 1 auditorium to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 30 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. Discussing emerging themes about Psychology in the workplace, promoting reflections, in order to contribute to the practical performance of undergraduate and postgraduate students and professionals in the field was the objective of the VIII Meeting of Organizational Work Psychology (POT) at the Bahiana, which, in this edition, had as its theme "What's in this POT(E)?: skills for working in Work Organizational Psychology". The event, which takes place annually, is held by the Psychology course, with professor Carolina Vila Nova Aguiar as coordinator. To talk about the different fields of activity of POT professionals, the event featured psychologist, professor and researcher Daiane Bentivi as a guest speaker. "We have an area that is over 60 years old, here in Brazil, however, only now, we have more postgraduate programs and lines of research for the training of professionals, teachers who work in the area. Ultimately, this provides the growth of this field of work in psychology", said Bentivi, who left constant updating as a path for people who wish to work in the area, "because, in addition to studying, it is good to put this study into practice". The first semester Psychology student at Bahiana Luana Kelly Gomes Macedo still had a confused idea about Work Organizational Psychology. In her opinion, it was limited only to work in Human Resources sectors. "With Professor Daiane's lecture, I realized that it goes far beyond HR. As I plan to work in research, after this lecture, I see that POT is also a very good field of research." The event also featured a round table on the field experiences of graduates of the Bahiana Luan Gomes, Camila Lima and Augusto Quadros. The chat was mediated by professor Eliana Edington.

VIII Meeting of Organizational and Work Psychology of Bahiana

After three years in a remote format, the Psychology course held, on June 6, the VII Meeting of Organizational and Work Psychology of the Bahiana, on the Cabula Campus. Under the coordination of professor Carolina Villa Nova Aguiar, the event had as its theme "Clinical Approaches to Work Activity: convergences, divergences and contemporary perspectives" and was attended by the course coordinator, Sylvia Barreto, the People, Luiza Ribeiro, and students from Bahiana and other higher education institutions. "Clinical approaches to work activity: convergences, divergences and contemporary perspectives" was the theme of the web conference given by Professor Jorge Tarcísio da Rocha Falcão (UFRN). The program also featured a round table with the speeches of the internship supervisor of the Psychology course, Eliana Edington, about the experiences of the interns' fields of practice and of the occupational physician, Raíssa Almeida, about the self-care of employees at the Bahiana, mediated by Professor Myla Arouca. "This in-person resumption is an opportunity for us all to be together again, seeing each other, feeling each other. This brings a differential. Today we come with the proposal to bring as a message that the emphasis of POT, on Bahiana, is an emphasis that is concerned with the health of the worker and, therefore, we are aligned with the institutional guidelines", declared the event coordinator, Prof. Carolina Villa Nova Aguiar. For Gustavo Carvalho, academic of the 8th semester of Psychology at Bahiana, the event provided relevant discussions for the practice of Psychology professionals. "The content linked both theoretical knowledge, such as the psychodynamics of work and the negative admission of work, as well as practical activities", highlighted Gustavo.

The event took place on June 6, with a return to the face-to-face format.

VII Meeting of Organizational and Work Psychology of the Bahiana

In order to strengthen the aspect of "Work" in the Psychology course, the Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública held, on September 13, the VI Meeting of Organizational and Work Psychology. The entire program was broadcast on the institution's YouTube channel and is available <a style="color: #007bff; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://youtu.be/4Rmii5KbyV4" target="_blank" rel="noopener">here</a>. Coordinated by Professor Carolina Villa Nova Aguiar, the meeting also aimed to present and discuss emerging themes in the area of ​​organizational and work psychology, promoting reflections in order to contribute to the practical performance of professionals who are already in the job market, in addition to enriching the training of undergraduate and graduate students who are preparing to enter the various fields of Psychology. Agenda The program was opened by a lecture by guest professor Dr. Antônio Virgílio Bittencourt Bastos who presented an overview of the 60 years of Psychology in Brazil, with the theme "Where does PO&amp;T enter this story?". In a second moment, the roundtable "The fruits of experience: current trends in POT" was held, with the mediation of the professor and manager of the Psychology Clinic at Bahiana, Myla Arouca and had the participation of the teacher of the Bahiana Franciane Moraes who presented the project "The Emotional Dimension of Teaching: Psychoeducational Intervention for the Development of Emotional Skills Based on Mindfulness". The psychologist and member of the People and Learning Management (GEPAP) Louise Tango, who presented the project Momento Bahiana which brought together a series of actions carried out during the pandemic, with the objective of communicating, in a clear and safe way, the situation of the Bahiana in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, promoting well-being and coping tools to maintain the body-mind-spirit balance.
