A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 7 laboratories, 23 rooms of class e 2 auditoriums to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 37 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. The Cabula Campus is also home to the Dental Center of Bahiana, where the Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic is located, a field of practice for the quality training of dentistry students, from the 4th semester of the course, under the supervision of professors and has ability to serve up to 120 patients simultaneously. <img style="float: left;" src="https://cms.bahiana.cworks.cloud/uploads/bahiana/originals/9011cc0d-d98c-4d9d-a6dd-686e4ae5aff9.jpg" alt="Cover Book “Tesitures of Mental Health Care and Harm Reduction in Bahia”" width="200" height="280">The professors Gerfson Moreira Oliveira, professor of the specialization course in Mental Health and Primary Care at Bahiana, and professor João André Santos de Oliveira, vice-coordinator of the Alliance for Damage Reduction Fátima Cavalcanti, an extension program linked to the UFBA School of Medicine, have just published, as organizing authors, the book "Tesituras of Mental Health Care and Harm Reduction in Bahia". The publication by Editora Dialética was an initiative of the Fátima Cavalcanti Harm Reduction Alliance and brings together texts by professors, researchers, workers and undergraduate and graduate students who developed activities linked to the Alliance and the Gregório Psychosocial Care Center for Alcohol and other Drugs of Matos. Among the authors, there is also the professor of the Specialization in Mental Health and Primary Care course at Bahiana, Marlene Miranda. The copyright was transferred to the Alliance, in order to allow the continuation of projects aimed at homeless people who abuse drugs. According to prof. Gerfson, the initiative represents an effort to systematize and produce visibility of the experiences produced by the Harm Reduction Alliance. "All the experiences are marked by the ethical and political commitment to harm reduction, in dialogue with the various ways in which it was produced in Brazil. It is worth noting that, within the logic of the expanded clinic and networked services, these inter-institutional partnerships , as here in the case of Bahiana and at UFBA, are very important for mental health care.” Prof. Gerfson explains that students from the Specialization Course in Mental Health and Primary Care participate in practical activities, such as internships and research, at Aliança and CAPS.
