A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 10 laboratories, 21 theatres, of class e 1 auditorium to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. Campus Brotas

Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 30 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. Tradition and innovation, pillars that serve as support and guide for Bahiana also permeate their academic activities, as was the case with the 2024.1 edition of the Gymkhana da Bahiana – Ginbah, held last Saturday, June 8, at Campus Cabula, in its 6th edition. The initiative aims to promote the teaching of Human Morphology and First Aid through playful and dynamic activities, with participants being teams made up of students from the 1st semester of the Medicine course and academic monitors from the other semesters. The activity, which traditionally takes place once a semester, was innovated in this 6th edition with a change in its schedule. “We try, every semester, to innovate. So, observing and listening to the students, we realized that the competition was very well structured, but there was a request for it to end early. So, we started activities at 7:30 am and reorganized the tests and removed some. We also finished the gymkhana with the Atlética drums playing together with young people from the Bagunçaço project, an institution to benefit from our solidarity campaign”, explained the co-coordinator of the Intercourse Morphofunctional Sciences Group (GCMI), professor Rafael Lélis. Ginbah also has as coordinators the GCMI co-coordinator, professor Suzana Araújo, the People Development coordinator and member of the event's organizing committee, Luiza Ribeiro, and professor André Zimmermann, who is also coordinator of the First Aid Curricular Component. “I'm very happy to participate in Ginbah once again as a monitor, because I already did gymkhana in high school and coming here and seeing this is really beautiful! Because I thought university was just hard work and seeing all this here is wonderful, because you can review... And even we, as monitors, learn too”, declared Bruno Fróis, 2nd semester Medicine student. This year, the order of winners was: 1. Bilirubin (yellow color); 2. Hemassa (red color); 3. Canabiloucos (green color); 4. Tadalafilhos (blue color).

Medicine Course holds 6th edition of Ginbah

Promote the dissemination of knowledge to students in the first semester of Medicine, students of the Biomorphology, First Aid and Instrumental Methodology components, based on information and creativity. This is the bias of Ginbah – Gymkhana Bahiana which, this semester, reached its 5th edition, last Saturday (28/10), with various activities carried out throughout the day, at Campus Cabula.

 Ginbah is coordinated by the professors of the Intercursos Morphofunctional Sciences Group Suzana Araújo and Rafael Lélis, by the First Aid professor André Zimmermann and by the People Management coordinator at Bahiana, Prof. Luiza Ribeiro. In this edition, the competition brought two new features: a scientific poster presentation test, simulating an academic event, and the test carried out in partnership with the Bahiana Green, in which students bagged organic compounds to win the right to ask questions in a quiz. “We created this activity with the aim of working on the institutional policy of preserving the environment and caring for planetary health”, highlights Rafael Lélis.

Learning stops being boring.” Gymnast and 1st semester student Isabelle Góes says that she was surprised by Ginbah's proposal. “I thought it would be more fun and that I wouldn't learn much, but I was wrong. In the first activity, I started writing down things about first aid that I didn't know, so I didn't imagine I would learn that much... And I did,” she celebrates. Medicine Course holds 5th edition of Ginbah

This is the objective of Ginbah - Gincana da Bahiana carried out by the Medicine course, whose 2023 edition took place last Saturday (13/05), at Campus Cabula. In addition to reinforcing the learning of students in the first semester, the activity that is held annually, provides integration between the classes that were divided into the Erva Poisonous (green), Icteric (yellow), Sildenafila (blue) and Venals (red color). "After three years suspended due to the pandemic, Ginbah resumed its face-to-face format. Being here with new students is very important for them to feel and appropriate this space. playfulness and well-being", declared the People Development coordinator and member of the event's organizing committee, Luiza Ribeiro, alongside professors André Zimmermann, who is also coordinator of the First Aid Curricular Component, and coordinators of the Intercursos Morfofuncionais Sciences Group (GCMI), Suzana Araújo and Rafael Lélis. "Anything that has Bahiana I like to enjoy. I think Ginbah is a good way to remember things in a more dynamic and fun way. I really enjoyed participating in my school's gymkhana and that moment reminded me of the past", declared Fabiane Durán Lôpo. Another important point of the gymkhana is to encourage social awareness, through the collection of groceries. In this edition, more than 200 were collected. kg of non-perishable food (rice, beans, pasta, cornmeal, sugar, coffee, biscuits and oil), in addition to basic necessities such as washing powder, soap, toothpaste and mineral water. , Lar da Criança, with the support of Mãos Solidárias to carry out the deliveries, and for Paróquia Santa Rosa de Lima, which carries out social work with homeless people.
