A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

General Coordination

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 10 laboratories, 21 rooms of class e 1 auditorium to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 30 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. The Cabula Campus is also home to the Dental Center of Bahiana, where the Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic is located, a practical field for the quality training of Dentistry students, from the 4th semester of the course, under the supervision of professors, and which has capacity to serve up to 120 patients simultaneously, and Ontological clinic, providing private and accessible service to the population, performed by highly qualified professionals. <a style="color: #007bff; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://en.bahiana.edu.br/laboratorios-de-ensino-campus-cabula/">Discover the teaching laboratories.</a>

“The Fake News Phenomenon: A Gunpowder Trail for a Desperate and Explosive Brain”. This was the theme of the XI Physiotherapy Research Journey of the Bahiana which took place on the afternoon of September 30, broadcast live by <a style="color: #007bff; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qP9-tHB68ns" target="_blank" rel="noopener">YouTube</a> da Bahiana🇧🇷 Coordinated by the former undergraduate student and professor of the scientific production axis at Bahiana Christina Brazil. The first roundtable, entitled "The impact of Fake News on clinical practice and decision-making" was opened by guest professor Leonardo Costa with the lecture "How to fight the 'Age of Misinformation'". "What is the meaning of fake news scientific" was the theme of the second lecture by Prof. Luís Correia, presented in a chat format with the participation of professors Bruno Goes and Cristina Dias. The second roundtable had the theme "The impact of Fake News on the education of future health professionals" and brought the lecture "Physical therapy practice and training in residence" with Professor Iana Verena Albuquerque, mediated by Professors Gleide Glícia Lordello and Amanda Lemos. The lecture "The impact of fake news on the development of skills of future professionals", given by the coordinator of the Physiotherapy course at Bahiana, Prof. Luciana Bilitário. The event was concluded by the roundtable, in the form of a chat, “The experiences of being a Woman and Researcher in Brazil”, with professors Élen Beatriz Pinto, Patrícia Lordelo and Cristiane Homsi Ferreira and mediation by professors Cristiane Dias and Cristina Brasil .
