A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

General Coordination

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 9 laboratories, 23 rooms of class e 2 auditoriums to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 37 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. The Cabula Campus is also home to the Dental Center of Bahiana, where the Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic is located, a field of practice for the quality training of dentistry students, from the 4th semester of the course, under the supervision of professors and has ability to serve up to 120 patients simultaneously. III Meeting of Graduates of the Physical Education Course at Bahiana and VIII Forum on Physical Activity, Quality of Life and Health Promotion

6th semester student Mateus Bonfim Ribeiro and teacher Lélia Lessa from the Physical Education course participated in an exchange program at the Brazilian Paralympic Training Center (CTPB), from October 10th to 14th. The Brazilian Paralympic Training Center has indoor and outdoor sports facilities that host training, competitions, exchanges of athletes and national teams in 15 Paralympic modalities. "Going to CTPB was a gigantic experience. I met people with a very high level of knowledge, they insisted on including me in the daily tasks! I also learned a lot with unusual technology, it's another reality", says Mateus. According to Professor Lélia Lessa, the visit to the Brazilian Paralympic Center was a very important moment for expanding and obtaining knowledge. “We had the opportunity to get to know a little about the preparation of Paralympic athletes and the fantastic physical and human structure of the center. In addition, we were able to provide our students who did not go, the knowledge and “experience” from photos, videos and reports of those who were there. These attitudes are important for the massification of Paralympic sport among our students and in Brazil”.

The experience took place in October, in the city of São Paulo.

The Physical Education course at Bahiana held, on September 24, the VII Forum on Physical Activity, Health Promotion and Quality of Life, in virtual format, broadcast on the Bahiana on Youtube. The event started with a greeting from the course coordinator, prof. Dr. Clarcson Plácido, who welcomed the participants and speakers and announced the 1st edition of the Prof. Dr. Hélio Bastos Carneiro de Campos: Tribute to outstanding Physical Education professionals in the year. The forum also covered the II Meeting of Alumni of the Physical Education course at Bahiana, held on September 23, by the Zoom platform. Aimed at students of Physical Education and other areas, the forum aimed to promote a broad discussion about management in physical activity, quality of life, leisure and sport. The program included round tables that raised discussions on the need for knowledge of the Physical Education professional at the various levels of service management, political projects and programs linked to quality of life, leisure and sport. The highlight of the meeting was the delivery of the Prof. Dr. Hélio Bastos Carneiro de Campos, in recognition of two outstanding professionals in Physical Education. The award was announced by Prof. Hélio, who revealed the name of the first recipient, Professor Maria Elisa Gomes Lemos, a member of the 1st class of the Physical Education course at the Catholic University of Salvador (UCSal). The second prize winner was professor and researcher Francisco Pitanga.
