A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

General Coordination

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 7 laboratories, 23 rooms of class e 2 auditoriums to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 37 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. The Cabula Campus is also home to the Dental Center of Bahiana, where the Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic is located, a field of practice for the quality training of dentistry students, from the 4th semester of the course, under the supervision of professors and has ability to serve up to 120 patients simultaneously. A Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública held, on March 19, the 2nd Workshop <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdlXR3F4KW4" target="_blank">Digital Health Bahia</a>, with the objective of bringing together public, private and university agents to promote a discussion with the purpose of promoting research and development of cyberstructure, entrepreneurship and innovation in health in Bahia. The event was part of the official program of the <a href="https://en.bahiana.edu.br/noticias/detalhes/35860/2-eneis-reune-pesquisadores-empreendedores-e-investidores-do-ecossistema-de-saude/" target="_blank">2nd National Meeting of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Health</a> – ENEIS. 
 
The opening table was composed by the coordinator of the 2nd Workshop Digital Health Bahia and the Technology and Innovation Center of Bahiana, Cláudio Santos, the full professor and coordinator of the Distance Education Center and the Technologist course in Health Informatics at Bahiana, Prof. Marta Menezes, the professor of the Technologist course in Health Informatics at Bahiana, president and founding member of the Institute of Education in Medicine and Health, Dr. Renato Sabbatini, and the specialist in health of the National Education and Research Network, Dr. Paulo Lopes. 
 
The schedule consisted of two panels. The first, "The future of the Digital Health professional", was moderated by prof. Paulo Ambrósio (UESC), with presentations by professors Renato Sabbatini, with the theme "The IT professional in Health of the future: what does the market expect?", Marta Menezes, with the theme "Competencies for the training of IT professionals in Saúde", and Daniel Santos (Manole/InfoMED), on "The value of online platforms for accessing clinical, scientific and educational knowledge". 
 
With the theme "Digital Health and Challenges for Bahia", the second panel opened with a presentation by the general coordinator of the Information Technology Infrastructure of the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation of the State of Bahia, Grinaldo Oliveira, who spoke about the advances of digital health in the state. Moderated by Professor Paulo Lopes, presentations by the Cyberinfrastructure Working Groups were also held, with Luiz Barreto (Remessa/PoP-BA/RNP); Telehealth Care, with José Cristiano Soster (Telehealth Center – DAB/SESAB) and Education in/in Health – Advances and Challenges, with Érica Menezes (Telehealth Center – DAB/SESAB). The event concluded with a discussion of the works presented, in order to contribute and promote digital health in the State of Bahia.

Bahiana promotes the 2nd Bahia Digital Health Workshop

This was the main objective of the 2nd National Meeting of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Health - ENEIS, promoted by Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública, in partnership with the State University of Bahia, the Gonçalo Moniz Institute (FIOCRUZ BA) and the Integrated Campus of Manufacturing and Technology (SENAI/CIMATEC). The event was held on March 19 and 20, virtually, with real-time transmission through the institution's official channel on the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/user/EscolaBahiana" target="_blank" rel="noopener">YouTube</a>. The first day was programmed with a set of six thematic workshops that covered the different stages of the production chain of technology and health product development. Held on the morning of the 20th, the opening ceremony was attended by the dean of Bahiana, Dr. Maria Luisa Carvalho Soliani, from the coordinator of the UNEB Innovation Agency, Dr. José Gileá, from the director of the Gonçalo Muniz Institute (FIOCRUZ), Dr. Marilda de Souza Gonçalves, from the dean of Postgraduate Studies and Research at SENAI/CIMATEC Integrated Campus of Manufacturing and Technology, Dr. Jailson de Andrade, the medical director of the Pain Therapy Clinic, Dr. Angiolina Kraychete, the State Secretary of Science, Technology and Innovation (SECTI), Dr. Adélia Pinheiro, and the Dean of Research, Innovation and Post-Graduate Education Stricto Sensu, also President of the 2nd ENEIS, prof. Dr. Atson Fernandes, who at the time publicly honored the coordinator of the Center for Technological Innovation and the Center for Health Research (NIT/NUPS), Prof. Me Fernanda Ferraz, for the excellence in organizing the event. In her words, Dr. Maria Luisa showed her indignation with the current situation in the country, facing the pandemic, and lamented the nearly 300 killed by COVID-19: "There is no innovation, no technology, no individual entrepreneurship because it depends on public policies that are made by public entities, made by the Federal Government, made by Congress. So we need policies. And we have been talking, lately, about a policy that has led to death." She ended her speech by drawing everyone's attention to the importance of innovating and undertaking, as citizens, a solution that would take the country out of its current situation. "Science, technology, innovation, entrepreneurship. The second edition of the event took place in a virtual format and had the participation of important personalities from the scientific and technological production in health in Bahia.

2nd ENEIS brings together researchers, entrepreneurs and investors from the health ecosystem

The school Bahiana of Medicine and Public Health holds, on March 19th and 20th, the 2nd National Meeting of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Health - ENEIS, with the objective of bringing together specialists, professors, researchers, students, investors and entrepreneurs in the area of ​​science, technology and innovation to share knowledge and experiences. The event also aims to create collaborative networks between academia, research centers, the productive sector and the government. The idea is to establish partnerships for the development of innovative products, processes and services in the healthcare area.&nbsp; The program starts on March 19, with 6 workshops that will be held via the Zoom platform. On the second day, the programming will start at 8:30 am, with broadcast on the official channel of the Bahiana on YouTube, and will feature panels: “Health of the future: innovations, trends and perspectives”; “Entrepreneurship in Biotechnology”; “Entrepreneurship &amp; Social Impact”; ending with the panel “Innovation in Health: from research to the market”. Digital Health Bahia In parallel to the 2nd ENEIS, Saúde Digital Bahia will also be held, an event that unfolds the “Digital Health Challenges for Bahia Workshop”, which took place in August 2019, at Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública, when, in working groups, strategies for advancing infrastructure, telecare and health education in the State were discussed. This second meeting of the working groups will aim to resume discussions in order to promote the continuity of the dialogues started in 2019. In addition, Saúde Digital Bahia will also promote a rich debate on the future of the Digital Health professional through panel that will feature the lectures:
