A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 9 laboratories, 23 rooms of class e 2 auditoriums to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 37 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. The Cabula Campus is also home to the Dental Center of Bahiana, where the Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic is located, a field of practice for the quality training of dentistry students, from the 4th semester of the course, under the supervision of professors and has ability to serve up to 120 patients simultaneously. A Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública, in partnership with the Universidad de Guadalajara, Centro Universitario Del Norte and Universidad CES, holds, from November 8th to 10th, the XNUMXst International Congress of Nutrición Poblacional (Ist International Congress on Population Nutrition). The initiative is completely free, with live broadcast on the official channel of the Bahiana on Youtube (<a style="color: #007bff; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRUi34Q3MMrAv9Ht49ceeaG9d3MOtUE78" target="_blank" rel="noopener">youtube.com/SchoolBahiana</a>).&nbsp; Population Nutrition arises due to its activities related to Public Health, mainly for its contribution to health promotion, from a participatory approach that aims to prevent and take care of food-nutritional problems in populations. Thus, the event aims to promote the exchange of experiences through the dissemination of research results and studies related to the topic. I International Congress on Population Nutrition

Bahiana, represented by the medical students Camila Verônica Souza Freire and Maria Eduarda Barreto de Siervi, was awarded for her scientific productions at the European Congress of Radiology 2021 (ECR - 2021). The event took place between the 3rd and 7th of March, online, through the Zoom platform. THE Bahiana participated in the meeting for the fourth time, through the Monitoring of Introduction to Operative Technique (MITO). Annually, the congress is held in Vienna, Austria. 
 
The students won awards in the Rising Stars category, for the works submitted with the support of MITO. The research entitled "Can we stimulate medical students' evidence-based and cost-effective diagnostic reasoning in Radiology? Impact of a Choosing Wisely approach" had the abstract written by Camila Freire (first author), Gabriela Fagundes Saffe, Maria Eduarda Barreto de Siervi and Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Araújo Dantas de Pinho, under the guidance of Prof.ª and Dr. Carolina Freitas Lins. The study “How can Branching Scenario tool transform and improve radiology education? The cross-sectional study" had student Maria Eduarda Barreto de Siervi as the first author of the abstract.&nbsp; 
 
In all, 13 works were submitted. Of these, only 32 were selected for the event. In addition Bahiana made the list of the 6 best student abstracts of the congress and, therefore, Camila Freire, responsible for preparing the abstract of one of the surveys, can participate in the congress, live, on March 6, to present the study. “The works had everything to do with Evidence-Based Medicine and Choosing Wisely in the teaching of Radiology”, explains Camila Freire, noting that the institution has a fundamental role in valuing these themes, in particular, evidence-based medicine, and that , thanks to this stimulus, it was possible to develop critical thinking and the necessary motivation to prepare the projects. 
 
the student of Bahiana he also reported that the projects emphasized the importance of science in medicine as a guide for clinical reasoning. "The focus of the studies is on making wiser decisions, which improve the quality of medical care through scientific evidence, preventing harm to the health of patients and the health system." Camila Freire pointed out that it was extremely gratifying to contribute to scientific knowledge with such a pertinent topic, “mainly because we are in a political context that disregards data and evidence, which, unfortunately, harms many people”.
