A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 7 laboratories, 23 rooms of class e 2 auditoriums to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 37 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. The Cabula Campus is also home to the Dental Center of Bahiana, where the Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic is located, a field of practice for the quality training of dentistry students, from the 4th semester of the course, under the supervision of professors and has ability to serve up to 120 patients simultaneously. The words of the psychology student at Bahiana Isadora Pires and Prof. Me Fábio Giorgio Santos Azevedo marked the opening moment of the IX Forum of the Youth Attention Center (CAJU) which took place on the morning of October 7th with broadcast open to the public on the channel of Bahiana No. <a style="color: #007bff; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://youtu.be/3vHLVmveN_Y" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Youtube</a>. The theme of the meeting was “Aquilombar youths!” “The theme brings this sense of community. Regardless of what happens with the elections, what matters is this experience of coming together, of getting together, because it transforms us and that is the experience of political action", declared Fábio Giorgio. Programme The first speech was by the journalist and author of the book “The erasing of ancestry – or on which side you samba” Marcos Elder Piaeté Tupinambá who addressed the theme "The Amerindian cosmovision about youth", mediated by psychology student Ana Luiza Letieres. The table "Stories that cross, collectives that resist", mediated by the psychology student at Bahiana Nábile Carvalho, with the participation of UFBA law student Franciele dos Santos Silva; graduate student in Medicine Bahiana Nicolas de Oliveira Ponso and the manager of the Oyá Institute Ivanildo Romualdo dos Santos Júnior. The program was completed by psychology student Rodrigo Mendonça de Faria, who recited a poem and invited those present to participate in a movement in defense of democracy, launched spontaneously and voluntarily by students of the Psychology course at Bahiana.

The new edition proposes a conversation between the students of the Bahiana and the young people of the Oyá Institute.

IX Forum of the Youth Care Center (CAJU): Aquilombar Juventudes!

Discussions on the promotion of mental health among young people in the context of the pandemic in synchrony with moments of relaxation and art were highlighted in the VIII edition of the Forum of CAJU (Center for Attention to Youth). The event had as its main theme "The sensitivity in rough times" and took place on October 29, live, through the channel of <a style="color: #007bff; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=niHJp016Eng" target="_blank" rel="noopener">YouTube</a> da Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública. The action presented the CAJU outreach programs, through reflections on ethical, aesthetic and political aspects involved in care practices. As explained by the teacher at Bahiana and event coordinator, Fábio Giorgio Azevedo, the themes addressed, to use a metaphor, referred to perceiving “a flower (or poetry, hope) that springs from the nausea of ​​everyday life”.&nbsp; Thus, the Forum's program included artistic interventions that stimulated the ethical and political sensitivity of the participants, promoting the exercise of listening, and also featured lectures by professors Dr. Rodrigo Cariri, Maria Lúcia Lima, Milena Lisboa, Mayara Novais, Paulo Oliveira and Veridiana Machado. The Psychology student and CAJU member, Nathalia Reis Martins, mediated the initiative.&nbsp; The event was also the stage for the launch of <a style="color: #007bff; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://issuu.com/reviztavirgula/docs/revizta_virgula" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Revitta Comma</a>, presented by some of the members of the project "Itinerant Mental Health Community" (CISMA), who were students Natália Mesquita, Nábile Carvalho, Rodrigo Mendonça, Raphael Gadelha and Catarina Lisboa. The project is one of the extension programs of CAJU. video-performance "This Flag is Ours", produced and directed by students from Bahiana, in partnership with youth from REPROTAI - Itapagipe's Young Protagonists Network, marked the end of the VIII CAJU.

The initiative promoted discussions about mental health in the context of the pandemic, in sync with moments of relaxation and art.
