A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

General Coordination

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 7 laboratories, 23 rooms of class e 2 auditoriums to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 37 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. The Cabula Campus is also home to the Dental Center of Bahiana, where the Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic is located, a field of practice for the quality training of dentistry students, from the 4th semester of the course, under the supervision of professors and has ability to serve up to 120 patients simultaneously. The IV Pedagogical Forum of the Bahiana!&nbsp; 
&nbsp;
All teachers will be together on the days November 30th and December 1st sharing a program set up with great care and affection to meet the needs and demands of the faculty of the various courses. 
&nbsp;
This year the Forum is about planning, a theme that has already been worked on in the Pre-Forum workshops, which took place throughout the second half of this year. All concepts and prejudices were discussed, socializing colleagues about what they think and do when planning their subjects. 
&nbsp;
It's time to register for the 11 offices programmed with the most diverse themes that make up this varied and appetizing menu. On 20/11 we will be celebrating the Biomedical Day and thus, on this date the Bahiana will be holding a commemorative event with mini-courses and conferences aimed at all interested parties. Check out the complete program of the event at the end of this newsletter. The Course of Biomedicine or Biomedical Sciences, Medical Modality, was pioneered in 1966. The emergence of a new profession presents a complex process of historical, technical and social nature. Many advances marked the history of stability in the Biomedicine Course, and all of these were marked by manifestations from academics and the valuable efforts of higher education entities. It is for this reason, after so much struggle and achievements, that there is much to be celebrated on that day: November 20th. <div align="left">"Sanctioned Law 11.339/2006 establishing the National Biomedical Day to be celebrated annually on November 20." Biomedicine is the science that conducts studies and research in the field of interface between medicine and biology, focused on the morphophysiological research of organisms and their variations, both individually and collectively; relate these processes to each other, in order to intervene, directly or indirectly, in the improvement of human and environmental health; recognizing health as a right and a dignified condition of life and understanding the state of the art of biomedical knowledge, with a critical and reflective stance; communicate with peers and interact in multidisciplinary teams; adapt to scientific and technological innovations; recognize the role of environmental quality in maintaining human health, with an emphasis on the ecosystems of the State of Bahia; respect the ethical principles inherent to professional practice; identify the socioeconomic, ethnic and cultural variables of the population, act as a transforming agent for the benefit of human society, recognize the functioning of the National Health System and understand regional peculiarities. “It is with great pleasure that we, from the academic community of the Biomedicine course at Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública, we carry out this complementary activity, which will certainly enrich knowledge in some areas of interest in our vast area of ​​activity”. &nbsp; "Adolescent vs. Family: How to Reconcile?" will be the theme of the next meeting of the course for Mothers, Fathers and Educators, promoted by Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública within the Integral Education Program "What is better for my children", coordinated by Professor Feizi Milani, from the Medicine course. The event will be on the 31st, Wednesday, at 19 pm, at the Academic Unit of Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública , at Avenida Dom João VI, 275, in the neighborhood of Brotas (in front of the Evangelical Hospital) .
