A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 7 laboratories, 23 rooms of class e 2 auditoriums to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. The campus also houses the Medical Center of Bahiana – Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic, the Community Outpatient Clinic and the Physiotherapy and Psychology Clinics, which serve the population of Salvador and function as practice fields for students. <a style="color: #007bff; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://en.bahiana.edu.br/laboratorios-de-ensino-campus-brotas/">Discover the teaching laboratories.</a>

Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 37 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. The Cabula Campus is also home to the Dental Center of Bahiana, where the Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic is located, a field of practice for the quality training of dentistry students, from the 4th semester of the course, under the supervision of professors and has ability to serve up to 120 patients simultaneously. A Bahiana has just signed a partnership with <a style="color: #007bff; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://dreamshaper.com/br/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">dreamshaper</a>, an edTech specializing in Project-Based Learning. Through an online tool, the initiative allows the implementation of active teaching methodologies, based on the development of academic projects. In it, students build projects related to their curricular components, following pre-defined work methodologies, promoting an autonomous experience and, at the same time, guided by their teachers. “The project between DreamShaper and Bahiana aims to introduce work with projects in a systematic way with the DreamShaper tool, impacting the curricularization of the extension, the student portfolio, the procedural assessment of the progress of learning and postgraduate studies”, explains the Dean of Undergraduate Education and Lato Sensu Post-Graduation Maria de Lourdes Freitas Gomes. She also clarifies that the initiative is premised on maintaining the institution's high academic quality, while meeting the regulation related to the extension curricularization, providing the gain of curricular efficiency and respecting the characteristics of the Bahiana.

An online tool will facilitate the development of academic projects, valuing the student's role in the teaching-learning process.

Monitoring 2022.2: results

A Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública celebrated, on May 31st, the 70th anniversary of a history based on the tradition of innovating.
The date was marked by a <a style="color: #007bff; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://youtu.be/WC7UAeNTkvw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">special live</a>, broadcast on his YouTube channel, with an interview and show with the Bahian artist Carlinhos Brown. Call for Voluntary Scientific and Technological Initiation - No. 01/2022

An extensive program marked the II May of the PICS, an annual action that took place from the 23rd to the 28th, with the objective of disseminating and strengthening the National and State Policy on Integrative and Complementary Practices in Health (PICS). The opening ceremony took place on May 23, in the auditorium of the Escola de Saúde Pública da Bahia (ESPBA), with the lecture “Flowering in Integrative and Complementary Practices in Health in the SUS”, presented by Professor Dr. Suzi Barboni, from UEFS. The programming took place in a hybrid format, that is, in face-to-face health promotion spaces and online. A Bahiana, through its Center for Integrative and Complementary Practices (CEPICS), was one of the entities participating in the event that was organized by Rede PICS Bahia, in partnership with Sesab, with public and private educational institutions, with popular movements and other institutions and entities of the state of Bahia. One of the highlights of the event was the lecture "<a style="color: #007bff; text-decoration: underline;" href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chQRGyHI2dQ" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Place of Ayurveda in the Current Health System</a>", with the doctor and Ayurvedic therapist Dr. José Ruguê Ribeiro Júnior, broadcast live on the official channel of Bahiana on Youtube.

 Between the 25th and 28th of May, face-to-face activities were carried out on the Campi Brotas and Cabula da Bahiana, such as Kundalini Yoga and Meditation workshops, with professor Himatdyal Kaur, of Bioenergetic Analysis, with professor Celeste Sá, of Mindfulness, with professors Marta Vanessa Souza and Marcela Gonçalves, and the experience Chinese Body Practices, with Professor Renata Roseghini. Reiki sessions were also promoted, with psychologist Elza Margareth and Heldon Patriarca, in massage therapy, with prof. João Cardeal, of auriculotherapy, with Dr. Gerfson Oliveira and Professor Renata Roseghini, as well as the conversation circle “Therapeutic Care of Ayurveda”, with Regina Puja Kinzer, who also provided assistance in the area. The lecture “Non-hegemonic knowledge in health education”, conducted by prof. Gerfson Oliveira and prof.ª Mônica Oliveira, and the lecture “Natural Agriculture in Urban Gardens: social technology to cultivate integrative corporeality in health education”, with prof. Paulo Rodrigo Aristides, Anderson Murilo de Lima and Dr. Rarielle Lima, took place in online mode and are available on YouTube.

The activity mobilized several public and private entities celebrating the National and State Policy on Integrative and Complementary Practices in Health (PICS).
