IX Nursing Journey: Tradition, innovation and humanity - images from our history

To promote a space for the construction and reconstruction of knowledge and concepts related to the training/performance of nursing professionals from the perspectives of teaching, research and extension. This is the main objective of the IX Nursing Conference of Bahiana which takes place on September 14th and 15th, at the Cabula Academic Unit.

This year's journey highlights the celebration of 65 years of Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública and 10 years of the institution's Nursing course, with the presence of people who were part of these trajectories.

The program will also feature round tables, workshops, mini-courses, presentation of academic leagues and a meeting of graduates of the Nursing course from Bahiana.

Other goals

Aimed at nursing professionals and students from the Bahiana and other educational institutions, the event also aims to present the history of the Nursing course in Bahiana that completes 10 years, consolidating, from a complementary learning space, practical activities from different areas of knowledge that are interconnected with care in nursing and health. The journey is also intended to encourage teachers and students to disseminate their scientific production, research, innovative academic strategies, sharing knowledge and exchanging experiences.
