Specialization Course: Surgical Center Nursing, Anesthetic Recovery and Material and Sterilization Center

Objective 
Ensuring technical improvement and employability for nursing professionals is the main objective of this course, which offers a general approach to the most diverse procedures in operating in surgical centers, in anesthetic recovery or in material and sterilization centers.

The main topics covered:
- Strategic procedures in operating in the Surgical Center, Anesthetic Recovery and Material and Sterilization Center;

- Guiding Principles of Nursing, Systematization of Perioperative Nursing Care (SAEP) and Information Technology in Surgical Centers;

- Biosafety, Occupational Health and Infection Control in the Surgical Center, Anesthetic Recovery and Material and Sterilization Center;

- Work Process in the Surgical Center, Anesthetic Recovery: management of the surgical schedule, quality indicators and management.

- Surgical Safety Procedures.

Target Audience
Nursing professionals.

Total - 420h, 100h of which will be devoted to activities at Hospital Santa Isabel in Salvador, BA.
