A Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública This establishes an important exchange with the Municipal Health Department of Camaçari, expanding mental health care for children and adolescents in the municipality.

The initiative stems from academic projects developed within the PhD program in Medicine and Human Health, led by Lícia Leony, and the Master's program in Psychology and Health Interventions, with researchers Luzinete Pereira and Naiara Oliveira. Coordinated by professors Mônica Daltro and Milena Lisboa and professor Carlos Danon, the project aims to develop a social care device within the public health network.

The proposal is specifically aimed at preventing suicide in childhood and assisting individuals at risk or in distress, through the training of healthcare teams to manage psychological suffering and crisis situations. The initiative reinforces the importance of integrated action between teaching, research, and service, contributing to the strengthening of public mental health policies in the region.
