The professor from the Master's Program in Medicine and Human Health at Bahiana Milena Bastos Brito had three papers approved and awarded by the International Congress of Gynecological Endocrinology – 40th Anniversary of the International Society of Gynecological Endocrinology (ISGE), which will take place from March 4th to 6th in Italy, one of the most important scientific events in the field.

One of the studies won in the Oral Presentation category, with the title "Continuation rate and determinants of contraceptive method use in women in Bahia". In addition, the works "Knowledge about Contraceptive Methods among Adolescents and Adult Women" and "Satisfaction and continuation rates with LARCs in a Public Family Planning Service in Brazil" were awarded the Full Congress Registration Prize, granted to only 50 abstracts among all those submitted to the congress.

The approval reinforces the quality of the scientific output of the graduate program at Bahiana This highlights the institution's commitment to research, innovation, and academic excellence, especially in the field of women's health and endocrine gynecology. Faculty participation in international scientific events also contributes to the dissemination of knowledge, academic exchange, and the strengthening of the institution's role in the global scientific landscape.
