The coordinator of the Master's Program in Health Technology at Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde PúblicaDr. Marcos Antônio Almeida Matos was honored during the 57th Annual Congress of the Brazilian Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology (SBOT), one of the most important national meetings in the field. The event took place from November 12th to 14th in Salvador.
Leading the “Science in Motion Group (GCM) – Research in Orthopedics, Traumatology and Rehabilitation”, Dr. Marcos Almeida received an award from SBOT-BA (Bahia regional branch), recognizing his legacy as one of the former presidents of the regional branch, valuing his contribution to the history of orthopedics in the region. The award honors the professor's solid career and his scientific contribution to the advancement of practices in orthopedics and traumatology.
