7th Brazilian Congress of Psychology 1st Edition

Faculty and students of the Master's Program in Psychology and Health Interventions at Bahiana They were present at the 7th Brazilian Congress of Psychology: Science and Profession, held between November 19 and 22, 2025, in Brasília-DF. The Congress, organized by the 27 entities that make up the Forum of National Entities of Brazilian Psychology (FENPB) in partnership with the Federal Council of Psychology (CFP), brought together professionals, researchers, and students from all over the country to discuss the theme "Global Crises and Local Impacts: Paths for Psychology as a Science and Profession".

Among the highlights of the participation of BahianaAmong the works presented is that of master's student Alice Oliveira, entitled "Between Walls and Barriers: An Analysis of the Guarantee of Rights for Incarcerated Women." The presentation at the congress offers visibility to fundamental debates on human rights, mental health, and social justice, revisiting the role of Psychology in relation to the incarcerated population.
