Bahiana Strengthens internationalization efforts at scientific congress in Peru.

The Postgraduate Program in Medicine and Human Health at Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública The program continues to expand its reach on the international stage. Professor Jefferson Petto, a faculty member affiliated with the Master's and Doctoral programs, participated in the II International Congress of Cardiovascular, Respiratory and Intensive Care Physiotherapy of the Peruvian Society of Cardiopulmonary and Intensive Care (SOPECARI), held from October 16 to 18 in Lima, Peru. The event brought together more than 300 professionals, including physiotherapists and physicians, and featured speakers from various South American countries, such as Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, and Peru.

During the congress, the professor represented Brazil by giving a lecture on Exercise Cardiology, a topic that has been highlighted in the research developed in the program.
