A Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública achieved 6th place in the Large Companies category in the 2025 edition of the Best Companies to Work For – National GPTW ranking. The awards ceremony was held on the evening of October 8th at Espaço Unimed in São Paulo. The GPTW Ranking is divided into the categories Giants (20 companies), Large (85 companies), Medium-Sized Multinationals (35 companies), and Medium-Sized Nationals (35 companies).
The result reaffirms the excellence of Bahiana as an institution that prioritizes the well-being and human development of its employees. “This recognition is the result of a culture that places people at the center of decisions. In Bahiana, we believe that results are built by people—and it is precisely this protagonism that drives our community. Each employee is engaged in daily transformation, building healthy relationships, and fostering a welcoming and inspiring work environment,” stated the Human Relations manager at Bahiana, Pollyanna Leal Figueiredo.
In recent years, the Bahiana has stood out nationally for its innovative actions in people management, such as the creation of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Committee and affinity groups, which strengthen representation and ensure an increasingly plural and equitable space. “In Bahiana"Education and care go hand in hand and are expressions of the same commitment to human beings. We train people to care for others, but we also deeply care for those who are part of this journey. This national recognition is more than a ranking: it's confirmation that our essence lives on in our daily lives, in our relationships, decisions, and actions. Here, each person is seen, heard, and valued. And it is in this environment of affection, respect, and inspiration that we build, together, an excellent place to work and transform lives," said Pollyanna.
