"The Bahiana For one day It's a very enriching experience because it brings high school students closer to the university reality, and they can hear from a professional about the possibilities of the profession, as well as experience a little of the practice, in my case, the practice of Physical Therapy. It's interesting how they engage in the experience, ask questions, and I believe this moment awakens interest in the profession and in a new future possibility," with these words, the professor of the Physical Therapy course at Bahiana Rachel Trinchão describes the program Bahiana For one day which, in the month of September, received the schools Land School, Anchieta Patamares, São Paulo, Maria José (Simões Filho), Salesiano de Salvador and Vilas.

The visits took place on September 3, 10, 17, and 24, with the participation of high school students, who were welcomed by professors from each undergraduate program at the institution. The Bahiana For one day allows visitors to learn a little about the routine of university students studying Biomedicine, Physical Education, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Medicine, Dentistry and Psychology, through practical activities and conversations with professors and students at the institution.

The program is an initiative of the Customer Relationship Center of Bahiana (Relaci) and aims to complement the professional guidance of high schools, providing visiting students with contact with the day-to-day academic life of the institution's undergraduate courses.
