August of the Arts 2025 mobilizes the Cabula and Brotas da Bahiana

A Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública, through the Psychopedagogical Care Center (NAPP) took place on August 19, 26 and 27, at the Cabula and Brotas, another edition of August of the Arts. The program included exhibitions, workshops, artistic performances, and an art and food fair for the academic community and the general public.

The event included three main exhibitions: the “Views Beyond the Lens” Photography Contest (check the contest results), the thematic exhibition Jung in the Arts and the Exhibition Bahiana of Artists. The program also featured hands-on origami, cold ceramics, and watercolor workshops, student art presentations, and an Art & Gastronomy Fair that supported local artists and entrepreneurs. The purpose of August of the Arts was to encourage the creation, enjoyment, and circulation of culture in university spaces, strengthening networks between teaching, outreach, and the community.

The organization of August of the Arts 2025 involved students, faculty, technicians, and guest exhibitors, reinforcing its integrative nature. The event is part of the outreach calendar and cultural activities aimed at the comprehensive education of students. Bahiana
