Book addresses innovation and entrepreneurship in healthcare with a focus on social impact and emerging technologies

The third edition of the book “Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Health: Science & Market” is now available for free access. The publication is a result of the III National Meeting on Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Health (ENEIS), an event held by Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública (EBMSP), in partnership with the Bahia State Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation (SECTI), the Bahia State University (UNEB), SENAI/CIMATEC University (SENAI/CIMATEC), and the Oswaldo Cruz Bahia Foundation (FIOCRUZ-BA). Funded by the Maria Emília Foundation, the book brings together 19 chapters written by speakers, researchers, and healthcare entrepreneurs who explore key themes in the fields of Health Entrepreneurship with Social Impact, Technologies Applied to Healthcare, Innovation in Healthcare Education, and Technological Prospecting.

According to him, the topics covered reflect the demands of society 5.0, with innovative, humane, and sustainable solutions to health challenges.
