Bahiana Registration opens for the 8th Autism Labyrinth Congress: Perspectives in Research and Clinical Practice

Registration is now open for the 8th Autism Labyrinth Congress: Perspectives in Research and Clinical Practice, promoted by the Interdisciplinary Laboratory for Autism Research (LABIRINTO) of Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde PúblicaRecognized nationally for its innovative work and social impact in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), LABIRINTO invites health and education professionals, researchers, students, families, and activists to an interdisciplinary meeting focused on debate and scientific updates on autism. With a hybrid format and thematic stations, the congress will be held on October 17th and 18th, from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm, at the Cabula Campus of BahianaThe event will cover topics such as comorbidities associated with ASD, sensory and communication challenges, school and social inclusion, neuropsychological aspects, and personalized therapeutic interventions. The program also includes publication launches, scientific presentations, and outreach activities aimed at the general public.

The event will also feature a pre-congress course on October 16th, from 13:30 pm to 18:30 pm, focusing on differential diagnosis and clinical process. With a total course load of 24 hours, the event represents a unique opportunity for professional development, experience sharing, and strengthening evidence-based practices in the care of individuals with ASD.
