Bahiana is highlighted at the 37th Bahian Congress of Cardiology

Nursing students were awarded in the Poster and Oral Free Theme categories

A Bahiana was a highlight of the 37th Bahian Cardiology Congress, held in Salvador on May 29th and 30th, bringing together renowned cardiologists from Bahia and various regions of the country. The institution had a significant presence, with a notable presence among nursing students, who presented important scientific papers and received awards in various categories.

Paula Cintra Gomes won third place in the Poster category with her paper "Hospitalizations and Deaths Due to Conduction Disorders and Cardiac Arrhythmias in Bahia." Gabriela Pereira Santos Andrade won first place in the same category with her study "Epidemiological Profile of Patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction in Bahia." Nayla Joaquina Correia Lima won first place in the Oral Free Theme category with her presentation "Profile of Women with Acute Myocardial Infarction Treated by the State Regulatory Agency in Bahia: Analysis from 2019 to 2023."

"The participation and recognition of female students Bahiana reinforce the institution's commitment to excellent academic training, scientific research and contribution to the advancement of cardiovascular health in Bahia," stated professors Simone Quirino and Cátia Palmeira.
