On Friday, it was the Graduate Program's turn, led by the coordinator of the Master's and Doctoral Program in Human Health, Prof. Dr. Marice Ladeia, to pay tribute to Prof. Dr. Bernardo Galvão. Also present were researcher Fernanda Grassi, who presented Dr. Galvão's entire academic and scientific career; Marcos Almeida, coordinator of the Master's programs in Health Technologies, and Mônica Daltro, coordinator of the Psychology and Health Interventions programs; Atson Fernades, provost of Research, Innovation and Graduate Studies; Carolina Pedroza, provost of Extension; and Maria de Lourdes Freitas Gomes, provost of Undergraduate and Graduate Studies; Cristiane Dias, director of the Graduate Program; and former students of the honoree, faculty, and academic partners. On the occasion, the first master's degree recipient from the program Bahiana, guided by Dr. Bernardo Galvão, Antônio Carlos Silva Santos Júnior, presented the Certificate of Honor to Merit for Bahiana. On that occasion, a photograph of the professor was attached to one of Professor Carlos Macílio, also the founder of the Postgraduate program at Bahiana.

Dr. Bernardo Galvão recalled that he went to the Bahiana at the invitation of Professor Carlos Macílio, a figure who should always be remembered when talking about the founding of the Postgraduate Program at Bahiana, which turns 25 this year. "It's very important to give people their due credit, and I always try to do that. Another very important thing is the collective. Nothing is done alone. We are always together, that's why my family and friends are here," said the honoree.
