To present and discuss emerging themes in the field of organizational and work psychology. To this end, the Psychology course Bahiana held the 9th Organizational and Work Psychology Meeting on June 3rd at the Cabula Campus. The event's main objective was to promote theoretical and practical reflections to contribute to the education of undergraduate and graduate students, as well as positively impact professionals already working in the job market. Coordinated by Professor Francine Andrade de Morais, the meeting brought together students and faculty from the program to discuss the topic "Career Transition: Discovering Possible Paths in Psychology."

The program's keynote address was the professional trajectory of organizational psychologist Mônica Xavier. In her presentation, she used her own life story as an example of career transition. While initially trained in Advertising, she worked in Customer Service, where she developed her skills as an organizational manager, later transitioning to Human Resources. The second part of the meeting featured the group dynamic "Creating a Story," in which team members developed the profile of a person in career transition, taking into account their professional, attitudinal, and personal skills.

Finally, the graduates of the Psychology course at Bahiana Patrícia Sena and Fernanda Lago shared their experiences in organizational psychology and career transition. “The formation of Bahiana "It's able to combine technical knowledge, behavioral knowledge, and empathy. These are essential skills not only in professional life, but also in personal life," emphasizes Patrícia, who, in her experience report, spoke about her own career transition, which began in the field of organizational psychology in 2008, when she graduated, and which recently included clinical work. Today, she works in a clinic and also provides consulting services in the organizational field.
