X Poetry Circuit takes place at Bahiana

The Psychopedagogical Care Center of the Bahiana (NAPP) held the 25th Poetry Circuit on March 1th and April XNUMXst, which, in this edition, had as its theme "Paths of Verses", an invitation to reflect, create and connect through the beauty of words. The game of "paths of verses" and "diverse paths" celebrated the diversity of voices, styles and stories that poetry can travel.

The initiative took place through a panel with poems sent by students and teachers, called "Poets of the House". In addition, a small sample of contemporary Brazilian artists was also assembled who have diversity as a hallmark of their work and speeches.

"We believe that art is a fundamental element in the education of students for their personal, emotional and, above all, sensitivity development. When they come into contact with a work of art or a poem, they are introduced to a different logic of thinking and feeling. Each spectator creates, together with the poet, by imagining the context, the rhythm and the words. That is why it is important to encourage creation and enjoyment of the work", declared Renata Berenstein, psychologist at NAPP and organizer of the event.
