Bahiana For One Day kicks off 2025 programming

Follow a patient's case from the moment they enter a health unit until they are discharged. This is the path proposed by the Program Bahiana For one day, whose 2025 edition began on March 19, with the 3rd year high school class of Colégio Sacramentinas. And, on March 26, it was the turn of high school students from Colégio Integral to visit the institution. In addition to humanizing the visit, the case follow-up shows visitors how multidisciplinary work is valued by the institution. The program is an initiative of the Customer Relationship Center of Bahiana (Relaci), which aims to support professional guidance work in high schools.

Throughout the program, in addition to learning a little about the routine of university students in the Biomedicine, Physical Education, Nursing, Medicine, Dentistry and Psychology courses, the students spoke with professors and visited the facilities where the various academic activities are carried out.

The visit sparked interest in the courses offered by student Júlia Lemos de Souza, from Colégio Sacramentinas. Bahiana. "It's a very interesting proposal, because, from the beginning, you have the opportunity to learn how the Bahiana. I wanted to take all the courses! The study possibilities are very broad, there is a range of resources and everything is very intense! The space is very pleasant to be in. It really makes you want to study here", said the visitor.
