Nursing professor wins research grant in Quebec

Professor Tássia Macedo, who is part of the teaching staff of the Nursing course at Bahiana, has just won a clinical research scholarship at the Quebec University Hospital Center (CHU), in Canada, where he is completing his postdoctoral program.

Their study, which is being developed in the field of traumatology and mental health, competed with 25 other projects from candidates from other countries. The research grant is supported by the CHU de Québec Foundation and the Dejardins Bank, and the research is being carried out in conjunction with the Hôpital Enfant-Jesus and the CHU de Québec research center.

The Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Québec is a network of three teaching hospitals affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine of Université Laval and several specialized institutions in Quebec City, Canada.
