"We are celebrating yet another recognition of GPTW as an institution of excellence to work in, whose good climate is recognized by our employees. This is the result of policies aimed at people, in order to respond to their demands, in addition to creating an environment of safety, comfort and, above all, understanding the needs of each person, in their particularity, but also within the institutional culture". With these words, the coordinator of People Development, Professor Luiza Ribeiro, celebrates yet another achievement of the Bahiana with 15th place in the Large Companies category, in the Best Companies to Work For – National 2024 edition. The awards ceremony took place on the evening of this Wednesday (9/10), at Espaço Unimed (Espaço das Américas), in the Barra Funda neighborhood, in São Paulo. The GPTW Ranking was divided into the categories Giants, with 20 companies; Large with 85; Medium Multinationals with 35 and Medium National with 35 companies.
Over the years, policies to value and train employees Bahiana have been awarded consecutive awards at the regional and national GPTW. The school has also been constantly innovating, such as the implementation of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Committee and affinity groups, to work directly with minority groups among employees and students in order to further ensure a diverse, inclusive and equitable environment. “A long journey, super rich in learning and the certainty of being on the right path. No one does anything alone. This result is the fruit of collective, collaborative work, where people lead improvements in their work environment”, says the manager of the Strategic Management of People and Learning at Bahiana (GEPAP), Telma Bastos, who was present and represented the institution at the award ceremony.
Luiza Ribeiro also highlights the importance of the questionnaires answered by employees. "This allows us to correct, expand, and diversify actions and policies for these people, as well as positioning ourselves in the world of higher education institutions as a reference for many people who begin to express the desire to work in Bahiana". Ribeiro says that hundreds of resumes are received every month, with people expressing a desire to participate in the community. Bahiana as a worker.
