Bahiana For One Day welcomes four schools throughout the month of September

"I think this visit is important and extremely necessary. When boys and girls are at school, they are very afraid and also have great doubts about what the university world is like, what they will do when they get there, what the physical structure is like. I think that Bahiana, with this welcome, helps students prepare to enter university", declared Alberto Andrade Gomes, scientific initiation professor at Colégio Nossa Senhora da Luz, the first student unit to participate in the Bahiana For one day, in September. The visit took place on September 4th and was attended by around 30 students.

They also visited the Bahiana in September, Colégio Integral (11/09), Centro Educacional São Lázaro de Candeias (18/09) and Colégio Montessori de Cruz das Almas (25/09). Throughout the program, in addition to learning a little about the routine of university students in the courses of Biomedicine, Physical Education, Nursing, Physics, Medicine, Dentistry and Psychology, the students talked to teachers and visited the facilities where the various academic activities are carried out.

For Letícia de Souza, a high school student at Colégio Nossa Senhora da Luz, participating in the Bahiana For one day was an enriching experience. "Here we see what the Bahiana can provide for its students, I was amazed by what I saw here. The structure, the content, the attention the professionals give us. Coming here helped a lot in my selection process. You end up getting guided by what the teachers teach. It's really incredible!", says the student.
