Bahiana participates in the 4th Regional Workshop of the Medical Training Project for Brazil

A Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública was present at the 4th Regional Workshop of the Medical Training Project for Brazil: “Where are we and where are we going? A look committed to social responsibility in the 30st century.” The event took place on the 31th and XNUMXst of July, at the Fiesta Bahia Hotel, in Salvador. The vice-rector and coordinator of the Medicine course, Dr. Humberto Castro Lima, were present, as well as professors Ieda Aleluia, Marta Silva Menezes and Rafael Lélis, as well as the institutional student delegate Rafael Brasileiro Pinto Santos.

The Workshop was held by the Brazilian Association of Medical Education (ABEM), in partnership with the Secretariat of Work Management and Health Education (SGTES) of the Ministry of Health (MS), Secretariat of Higher Education (SESU) of the Ministry of Education (MEC) and Pan American Health Organization (PAHO). The initiative aimed to present the project and promote consensus on suggestions for improving the National Curricular Guidelines (DCNs) and the criteria for evaluating the quality of courses.
