Physiotherapy undergraduate students You have until July 21st to submit their projects in the special edition of the Inova+ Saúde Award. With the purpose of encouraging academic entrepreneurship, stimulating new talents with innovative potential applied to Physiotherapy, the proposal aims to recognize, reward and disseminate ideas with original potential, promoting interaction between academia, health service providers and the production sector, with a view to developing inventive projects in the area of physiotherapy. Interested parties must submit their work via online form.
All submitted works will be presented during the Marathon of Innovative Technologies in Physiotherapy, which will be part of the program of the XXV COBRAF – Brazilian Congress of Physiotherapy, to be held in Salvador, on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of August. “It will be an excellent opportunity for physiotherapists at Congress to present innovative ideas for the problems that will be raised in the Inova challenge. And, for the winners, there will be the benefit of a 50% discount on the value of the Professional Master's in Health Technologies course at Bahiana”, highlights the vice-rector of Research, Innovation and Stricto Sensu Teaching, Dr. Atson Fernandes. According to him, the intention is that the best ideas become real research and technological development projects to be incubated in the institution's postgraduate program.
“This initiative by Bahiana aims at qualified Physiotherapy training in the area of health technologies, applied in clinical, academic practice and in the industrial sector. This professional will be inserted into the market with an innovative vision, impacting evaluation, diagnosis and treatment methods in Physiotherapy, promoting interaction between academia, health service providers and the productive sector”, declares Dr. Cristiane Dias, organizer of the notice, prepared together with professor Fernanda Ferraz.
