Professional Master's Degree in Psychology and Health Interventions welcomes professor from the University of British Columbia (UBC)

The Professional Master's Program in Psychology and Health Interventions welcomed visiting professor Caty Kline, from the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, Canada. Together with professor Milena Lisboa, Kline has been discussing the effects of an innovative training device, created by UBC and implemented in Bahiana, with the participation of patients from the HTLV Center of Bahiana Health as mentors in an extension program.

The Health Mentors Program has been accompanied by action research, the results of which were presented at the International Congress on Academic Medicine (ICAM) - Canada. This extension initiative integrates students from 4 undergraduate and 3 master's programs, bringing innovative perspectives in the field of training health professionals, in order to provide patients with a leading role in medical education.
