Bahiana receives new academics

The date "New from Bahiana”, traditional reception for new students in the undergraduate courses at Bahiana, took place last Friday, February 3, remotely, with a live broadcast on the institution's official YouTube channel. With the theme "Academic Life: the different spaces of the university", the welcome to the new academics was given by the coordinator of People Development, Prof.ª Luiza Ribeiro.

The program had the participation of students and former students of the institution, who presented to new students some programs and projects offered to undergraduates as a way of enriching the academic curriculum, such as the Center for Attention to Youths (CAJU) and academic exchanges .

According to the manager of the Psychopedagogical Care Center, Prof. Angélica Mendes, who mediated the entire program, the university is a producer of knowledge and culture. "Every institution of higher education provides many experiences, learning and living with diversity. Being at the university is also an opportunity to expand knowledge, to get in touch with this academic community and with society", she pointed out.
