Bahiana performs VI Health Tech

“This is an event that has already become a trademark in the Bahiana🇧🇷 Health Tech was created to promote science from the perspective of technological development, innovation and, above all, social impact”. With these words, the Dean of Research, Innovation and Stricto Sensu Graduate Studies at Bahiana, Dr. Atson Fernandes, kicked off the 6th edition of Health Tech, on the night of November 30, with a live broadcast on the Zoom platform. The dean of the Bahiana, Dr. Maria Luisa Carvalho Soliani, professors, researchers and undergraduate and graduate course coordinators. More than 250 people attended the meeting.

The program revolved around the lecture “Undertaking with Purpose: businesses that are better for the world”, presented by the Social Responsibility program consultant at the Bahiana and CEO of Pontos Diverse – Association for the Promotion of Sociocultural and Environmental Diversity – and Director of Diversity at ABRH BA, Renata Martorelli, mediated by the professor at Bahiana and director vice-president of Pontos Diverse, Carolina Barreto. At the end of the lecture, several professors discussed with the speaker about sustainable solutions in the area of ​​health education and public health.

At the end of the event, as in every year, an award ceremony was held for the Best Papers presented at the XX Scientific and Technological Conference. About 30 first, second and third place prizes were awarded to undergraduate and high school students who are carrying out scientific research in the Bahiana.
