The PAES (Program of Actions and Studies on Suicide), of the Psychology course at Bahiana, held, on September 28, the event "Yellow September – Preventing is living the beauty of being an eternal apprentice", highlighting the month of suicide prevention. The opening of the meeting, which took place virtually by the YouTube da Bahiana, was due to the words of greeting from the coordinator of the PAES and professor of the Psychology course at Bahiana, Aicil Franco. "We have tried to take a lighter tone when we talk about suicide, but we have also tried to talk a lot about prevention", explained the professor regarding the choice of theme for this year's meeting.

Under the coordination of Professor Maria Ivanna Amado Guerra, the work began with the lecture "Threads to weave a full life", presented by Professor Marta Vanessa Oliveira. The roundtable that gave a segment to the program brought a presentation by Professor Maria Ivanna on the actions of PAES. The next speaker was the coordinator of the Center for Psychopedagogical Attention (NAPP), Prof. Angélica Mendes, showing a little of the trajectory of the center in its more than 20 years of activity. The third speech from the panel was from the Psychology student Conceição Mendes, who presented her experience as a volunteer at the Life Appreciation Center (CVV).

The final lecture was given by guest professor Alexandre Coimbra Amaral, who drew attention to the multifactorial factors that lead to the suicidal act. "Suicide is this call for us to reflect on how we have lived; and how we have lived in an individualistic way that, many times, cannot perceive the suffering of those who are next to them, who are often unable to develop useful instruments to support this immense suffering that is 'I don't know what to do with my life'".
