Bahiana holds the VI Meeting of Organizational and Work Psychology

In order to strengthen the aspect of "Work" in the Psychology course, the Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública held, on September 13, the VI Meeting of Organizational and Work Psychology. The entire program was broadcast on the institution's YouTube channel and is available here.

Coordinated by Professor Carolina Villa Nova Aguiar, the meeting also aimed to present and discuss emerging themes in the area of ​​organizational and work psychology, promoting reflections in order to contribute to the practical performance of professionals who are already in the job market, in addition to enriching the training of undergraduate and graduate students who are preparing to enter the various fields of Psychology.

Agenda
The program was opened by a lecture by guest professor Dr. Antônio Virgílio Bittencourt Bastos who presented an overview of the 60 years of Psychology in Brazil, with the theme "Where does PO&T enter this story?". In a second moment, the roundtable "The fruits of experience: current trends in POT" was held, with the mediation of the professor and manager of the Psychology Clinic at Bahiana, Myla Arouca and had the participation of the teacher of the Bahiana Franciane Moraes who presented the project "The Emotional Dimension of Teaching: Psychoeducational Intervention for the Development of Emotional Skills Based on Mindfulness". The psychologist and member of the People and Learning Management (GEPAP) Louise Tango, who presented the project Momento Bahiana which brought together a series of actions carried out during the pandemic, with the objective of communicating, in a clear and safe way, the situation of the Bahiana in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, promoting well-being and coping tools to maintain the body-mind-spirit balance.
