Bahiana Maria Emilia Foundation

The pro-rector of Research, Innovation and Postgraduate Teaching Stricto Sensu, prof. Atson Fernandes, participated in a meeting with the Board of Directors of the Maria Emília Pedreira Freire de Carvalho Foundation in the company of the coordinator of the Institutional Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI), Maria Antonieta Araújo, and the coordinators of the Master's and Doctoral Postgraduate Programs in Medicine and Human Health, prof.ª Ana Marice Ladeia, from the Professional Master's in Health Technologies, prof. Marcos Almeida, and the Professional Master's in Psychology and Health Interventions, Prof. Mônica Daltro.

The Maria Emília Pedreira Freire de Carvalho Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to foster, generate and disseminate knowledge and education and health technologies with social impact. The meeting had the objective of strengthening ties for the accomplishment of partnerships in the scope of research in the postgraduate courses of the Bahiana, including funding for master's scholarships in public health and scientific research.
